Sucks to be her.
I know, she brought this upon herself by posting all of those videos and everything… But this makes me feel sorry for her. Yes, it’s terrible that she’s eleven years old. Yes, her parents could have stopped her from this. I know people think it was funny, or just disgusting that she’s “scene” with an incredibley foul mouth at such a young age, but that’s the point. She’s eleven. She doesn’t know any better. And the death threats, and phone calls? I’m scared for her, despite how she pretty much sought the attention in the first place. She doesn’t deserve that, no matter how terrible her image may appear to be. I actually hope that she’s okay.
Yeah all that is true, but by the age of 11 she should know some of her rights and wrongs, like that it is wrong for her to swear at such a young age and her parents should have seen what she was doing and stopped it, instead they didn’t and they let her carry on. Yes it is unfortunate what happened and at least she’ll be OK in Police custody now but still, her and her parents should have known better.
Everyone is entitled to be who they want to be. People are being incredibly disrespectful to her. Say, for example. How would you like it, if you were attacked for who you are? If people started saying things like that to you, about liking Doctor Who- to the extent that she recieved all of it. Would you be upset? Would you be frightened? I’m sure that you would. And, most importantly, that’s who you are. It’s a part of your life. Just like that Jessi girl, just like she is who she is. Age shouldn’t matter. Because, people aren’t exactly being mature by attacking her. I don’t mean to come across as angry at you, because I’m not angry at you, or at anyone. But EVERYONE has the right to be treated as equals. No one should be like this to anyone, no matter what age, race, gender, or however much they swear and seek attention on youtube.
I love you, Mel, but there is a huge difference between being who you want to be and a serious lack of parenting.
She’s eleven. No child at that age should think it’s okay for them to expose their boobs on a public broadcast, talk about turning someone’s head into a brain slushie, or talking about fucking the brains out of someone until she “squirted and screamed.” She’s eleven. She’s a child. Her parents should have been doing their job and keeping her away from things like oversexualisation until she was older. I’d be disgraced if even a fourteen year old knew half of the things that this girl knows.
I would expect that kind of behaviour (that is, being who you want to be) from someone who was fifteen and sixteen and at the age where you genuinely start finding your identity. Not an eleven year old who is biologically, mentally, socially and legally still a child.
Sure, let her swear all she wants. Sure, let your kid grow up to be a self-righteous whore. But shit, at least do a good enough job so she’s not starting before she’s even hit her teens.

It’s nice to know exactly how it got started. And on that note, I’d like to say it’s ridiculous. Yes, she shouldn’t have...
